Our medical sales resident program has proven to be a win-win for us. We hire quality individuals who are here to learn and make a difference. This program exposes residents to a variety of tasks, learning opportunities, and hands-on experience. 

Medical sales residents experience a rotation through the various and unique departments of DeRoyal, all while building knowledge of sales, operations, DeRoyal® products and assisting with various company projects. Each person has the opportunity to travel with sales representatives and learn practical operations from medical locations such as hospitals, surgical centers, DMEs and more. 

While in the field, residents interact with clinicians and provide training for DeRoyal® products. Working alongside sales representatives expands product knowledge and further develops sales skills for residents. Upon successful completion of the residency program, sales residents have the tools necessary to establish themselves within their own sales territory as a successful sales person for DeRoyal.

The main goal of the residency program is to coach, prepare and refine residents into becoming successful sales representatives running their own territory. With the healthcare landscape ever-changing, great opportunities within DeRoyal are readily available for highly trained sales residents to impact the company in a positive way through various sales and marketing opportunities.

To qualify, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree (minimum cumulative GPA 2.5) and a willingness to travel and relocate. We are interested in individuals who possess a professional attitude, appearance and enthusiasm to sell medical supplies. Excellent communication skills, the ability to take initiative and adapt to working in various work environments are other important traits to consider when applying for this position.

DeRoyal offers a base salary plus a housing stipend during the training period, relocation assistance, extensive in-house training programs, a professional selling environment and advancement opportunities. Numerous times, our former sales residents have won our most prestigious sales and corporate awards.
